In 'The Weight of Expectation', I aim to convey the crushing burden of societal expectations and the devastating impact it has on the human spirit. Acrylic paint was used as my medium, I represent the ways in which we are all constrained by the weights of oppression, trauma, and responsibility. Through this piece, I hope to inspire a deeper understanding of the importance of releasing ourselves from the weights that bind us, and finding the strength to rise up against the expectations that seek to hold us back. ....
